These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Mallard Motorsport Remapping. By booking, requesting, or receiving any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.
1. Services
Mallard Motorsport Remapping provides ECU remapping, vehicle software modification, diagnostics, and related tuning services. All work is carried out using professional tools and software. No guarantee is given that a vehicle will achieve specific performance figures.
2. Vehicle Condition & Customer Responsibility
The customer confirms that their vehicle is mechanically sound prior to any work being carried out. Mallard Motorsport Remapping accepts no responsibility for faults, failures, or damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, wear and tear, or undisclosed issues.
3. Performance Figures & Fuel Economy
Any quoted power, torque, or fuel economy figures are estimates only. Actual results may vary depending on vehicle condition, fuel quality, maintenance history, driving style, and environmental conditions.
4. Mechanical, Electrical & Software Risk
ECU remapping and software modification may increase stress on vehicle components. Mallard Motorsport Remapping shall not be held liable for any mechanical, electrical, drivetrain, engine, gearbox, clutch, turbocharger, emissions system, or electronic failures occurring after the service has been completed.
5. Warranty & Insurance
It is the customers responsibility to inform their insurance provider of any vehicle modifications. ECU remapping may affect manufacturer or third-party warranties. Mallard Motorsport Remapping accepts no liability for warranty or insurance implications.
6. AdBlue / DPF Software Services
Any AdBlue or DPF-related software solutions are provided for off-road or motorsport use only. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure their vehicle complies with all UK road traffic, emissions, and MOT regulations. No liability is accepted for legal or regulatory consequences.
7. Mobile Service Conditions
As a mobile service, access to the vehicle must be safe and suitable. Mallard Motorsport Remapping reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate work if conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, or prevent work from being completed correctly.
8. Payments
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to make payment when due constitutes a breach of these terms.
9. Late Payments
Late or unpaid balances may be subject to:
- Additional administrative charges
- Interest charged at 8% above the Bank of England base rate
- Recovery costs incurred in pursuing outstanding payments
Mallard Motorsport Remapping reserves the right to refuse future services until all outstanding balances are settled in full.
10. Refunds
Due to the nature of software modification, refunds are not offered once work has been completed, except at the sole discretion of Mallard Motorsport Remapping.
11. Limitation of Liability
Mallard Motorsport Remapping shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings, vehicle downtime, or inconvenience. Liability is strictly limited to the cost of the service provided.
12. Privacy Policy
Mallard Motorsport Remapping collects only the personal information necessary to provide services, such as name, contact details, and vehicle information. Data is used solely for service provision and communication and is never sold or shared with third parties.
